I was sitting at the Methadone clinic on Friday, waiting on my counselor to come get me. My mom came with me on Friday. As usual…a fellow methadone patient came up to us and struck up a conversation. She talked about her bag that she got on sale for five bucks at walmart, how her dog fits in it..etc.
Then, the convo took a strange turn.
Woman with the bag: I hate these damn chairs here. Theyre so fuckin dirty but ive sat in worse when I was doin dope I guess ::raspy Marlboro laugh::
Guy across the room: HELL ONE TIME I SAT IN A PUDDLE OF MY OWN GOD DAMN VOMIT ALL NIGHT.

Haha, I can relate to them though. I’ve thrown up all over myself drunk and didn’t clean it up because I was wayyyyy too damn drunk to even MOVE. I’ve also sat on nasty bathroom floors throwing up in nasty toilets.
That was all when I was a teen and could not handle my alcohol or cut myself off. I haven’t been that drunk in years and years.

Oh, and so many people have told me they’ve peed the bed drunk. I’ve never done that though.

One time I was so sick that I threw up while I was sleeping and just… kept sleeping.
That’s quite interesting though. Personally, I don’t like it when people start talking to me… it makes me get nervous.
Strangers are fun to talk to though.

Sometimes hearing other peoples stories in times like makes ya realize what you’re all fighting for. Freedom. It also provides a good little laugh for those you choose to share it with. I hope it’s working out for you!
